Could I be pregnant? (Nuvaring)?
About how long after using the nuvaring did you get pregnant? but the ultrasound I had last week dated me as being 4 weeks when I tested positive. 6 months for a normal, healthy person to get pregnant after going off of. I got pregnant my first month off of the nuvaring. dance (sex)) and she did and BAM she has a baby boy! so i always use this joke if i dont get. Anyone that used the nuva ring, did you get pregnant on. When I found out I was pregnant, DF and I had only been dating for 8 months. I haven't said anything to him yet about how I've been feeling differently just because I don't want him.
Being in a new relationship the time isn't great, but every child be it planned or not is a blessing. Never had a bc method fail on me before: Ready to tap out now! No pill to remember everyday. Well, I'm 38 weeks pregnant now because the Nuva ring fell out one night after my fiance and I had sex. I didn't know it had fell out till a couple weeks later when I was supposed to take it out.
Because we were so paranoid, he didn't ejaculate in me even with me being on birthcontrol so I figured I was in the clear. I put a new one in and 4 weeks later, I found out I was preggers. Caristiona Due November 9 ; Langley, British Columbia 45 posts Mar 8th '12 Ive been on the nuvaring for about 5 years, never had a problem until this year.
I noticed that everytime I took it out, it took longer and longer to get my period. I though maybe I was ovulating late. Forgive me if this is TMI, but its my story I have no idea how long the ring may have not been working for, as my hubby typically doesnt "finish", and hasnt for about 4 months, thats until mid Feb a few of weeks ago. I never thought anything anything of this Well Im still waiting for my period and having cramps and it makes me think Im in for a good one: Like I said, I have no idea if this is a freak incident, or my ring hasnt been working for me for months, making my uterus a primed incubator for baby to move in.
I hope Im not freaking anyone out, but I want to share my story.
Caristiona Little Alex's Mommy Due March 8 girl ; 17 kids; Brownsville, Pennsylvania posts Mar 9th '12 I have been on the ring since having my son, roughly 9 months. This week is my AF week.
I wasn't due to get it until Friday or so but got it Wednesday night, which I didn't really think anything of. But it's been extremely light, like yesterday I had in a regular flow tampon and it didn't even 'fill' it.
And it's been all very dark blood, brown and very little red if any at all. My gf is around 19 weeks and she got pregnant while on it also and never did anything wrong. She said the last period she had was extremely light, like mine, and it didn't last very long at all. Like one maybe two days of this extremely light flow. I'm not worried about being pregnant, I'm engaged and our son was a pill baby so another surprise wouldn't be all that shocking lol.
But I've just felt a little weird. I'm not one to have cramps at all. With this period I've had this pressure type feeling in my lower abdomin and it's kinda making me think.

Anyone else have this happen?? I didnt think anything of it, I actually thought the Nuva Ring was stopping my periods, because it works really well and love not having to take a pill.
I did everything normal, started the ring on the last sunday of every month, always made sure one was waiting in the fridge for me, and if the time comes where Im not on it yet, I get my hubby to wear protection.
